Her Majesty Margareta, Custodian of the Romanian Crown, received the “Book of Kindness” from the Ambassador of Ukraine, during a ceremony that took place in the Dining Room of the Royal Palace in Bucharest.

The event took place in an atmosphere of great emotion, together with the 160 young people from Ukraine and Romania, representing the Princess Margaret of Romania Foundation, The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Romania Foundation, the Romanian Red Cross, as well as the Princess Margaret of Romania High School from Bucharest.

The project brought together stories sent by young people about goodness, kindness and charity, Her Majesty confessing that their gesture is an inspiration to the whole society and expressed confidence in the power of the young generation to change the world.
