Today, 10th of June, would have been the 100th birthday of HRH The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.

Prince Philip was a champion of the infinite potential of young people and a pioneer in non-formal education and learning.The Award family around the world joins to mark our Founder’s 100 and commits to ensuring that HRH’s legacy not only continues, but grows through the work of the Award worldwide.

Generations of young people have had the opportunity to take on the life changing challenge of a DofE Award; we are honoured to carry his legacy forward. Over the past week, there has been an outpouring of support and messages from participants, Award holders, and many others who have been involved with the Award at some point in their lives.
