2021 came with many Adventurous Journey Camps organised for over 200 young people ready to go hiking in a responsible manner – 3 days in expeditions organised in Sovata, Ceahlău, Ciucaș or Covasna Mountains, with training workshops such as first aid, hiking equipment, map and compass navigation, camping, rope garden, via ferrata or kayaking activities, team building and leadership woekshops. The mountain taught us what modesty means, how to be responsible in our actions and how to enjoy a hot cup of coffee with your tent colleague, a story around the fire, guitar songs, and being motivated when it gets difficult.

Each level of the Award program brings an incredible achievement that crowns the efforts of those who dare to take up a unique challenge that will test their minds and bodies. Massive congratulations and thank you to all students, outdoor providers and partners who didn’t shy from this challenge and went on their expeditions despite the pandemic challenges to test their physical and mental strength.
