Through her role as manager, Andra supports a number of Award Centres nationwide with tailored guidance and solutions, ensuring high‑quality programme delivery and widening young people’s access to meaningful personal development experiences.
As coordinator of youth initiatives, Andra connects the Foundation’s partnerships with participants’ needs, creating opportunities for learning and engagement through projects such as Youth Haferland, the Power of Now Club and DofE Youth Events. She also leads the DofE Volunteering Hub, the Foundation’s volunteer community, where young people can develop practical skills in areas including social media, public speaking and programme promotion, event organisation, web development and translation.
With a background in psychology and strong experience in volunteering, leadership and direct work with young people, Andra blends professionalism with empathy and innovation, helping to shape personal development experiences that make a genuine difference in participants’ lives
